Why is Couple’s Retreat important?
Marriage is one of the first things God set in scripture after he said it isn’t good that man should be alone. If a marriage is out of tune with God, this will resonate throughout The Church as well, even to the point of it hindering our prayers being answered (1 Peter 3:7). God instituted this before sin ever came into the picture, so this shows us that his perfect setup wasn’t complete without a helpmeet. We truly are Better Together!
Marriage is a wonderful thing and should be a point of joy in our lives (although we know it doesn’t always feel that way, haha!). A couple’s retreat is an excellent way for us to build up our relationship with our spouse, and find more joy within it.
P.S. It’s called Couples Retreat, but you have to be married to attend! 🙂
