Warner Robins was blessed to host a VBS last fall with sixteen children! Our theme was “Anchored in Jesus!” We focused on Deepening our faith in God. We studied Paul’s shipwreck, and Christ’s death and resurrection. We learned Jesus is our Hope. There were classes for juniors and teens. The children enjoyed worshipping the Lord through music and crafts as well. They were able to run off some energy during a scavenger hunt to a nearby park. We had a total of sixteen children present throughout the weekend. And we concluded our VBS with a Children’s Day celebration in which the parents were invited to come and see what their children had learned. Never think your church is too small or unable to reach out. Where there are willing hearts, God provides the needed tools.

We had a local member purchase a cotton candy machine for fundraisers! We have had two sales so far totaling over $1000 in sales and donations. Praise God!

During the fall and spring we held five soup kitchens to help the local people, and invite them to service. We have been collecting names for prayer, as well. To date, we have given out approximately 260 meals, and we have received $417 in unsolicited donations. God is good!

Also, we have replaced our roof and back awning completely debt-free thanks primarily to one local member who donated nearly all we needed! They know who they are and God does too! We reap what we sow!
