The Church at Cedar Crossing has a new church sign!

The Church at Bethel/Cedar Crossing has a new church sign. This sign is located at the intersection of Hwy 56 and Cedar Crossing Road. The sign itself is a testimony of what God is doing for us here at Bethel. The Spiveys are a couple that have been attending a little over six months. Jimmy is an artist and has painted murals and Christmas emblems for the community. He came to me with the idea to make us a sign. I explained to him that we were to be presented as The Church of God. I also told him that I wanted an arrow underneath the name of the church, pointing in the direction of Bethel’s location. He said, “Preacher, I am putting ‘We love you on there too.” I smiled and said, “AWESOME!!” Love is how the world will know we are His Disciples! Mr. Spivey did a wonderful job, and we ask you to pray for this.

The Church at Rossville has a new church sign plus more!

The Church of God at Rossville, GA gives all the glory to God for the work that has been done to the local church building. There is a lot of work that still needs to be done and we are doing what we can one step at a time. We read God word, “Let all things be done decently and in order.” (1 Corinthians 14:40 KJV) We started with the church sign as the money was donated to get the work done, as more donations came in, we were able to start replacing facia board and soffit to the outside of the church building. We thank those who donated the money and who gave their time to do the work. People are looking for Zion let’s make our places of worship presentable, but most importantly let’s fill it with the Spirit of our Lord Jesus Christ. Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. (Ps 29:2).

Warner Robins has a new roof and awning – debt free!!!

The Warner Robins Church was able to get a new metal roof put on at the end of last year with the help of Bishop David Dowling, the pastor of the Waynesville Church. He and his son Virgil came up for a weekend to repair several places that were damaged and install the new roof. All in one weekend!

He came back several months later to help us add a new and much bigger overhang over the main entrance to the Church. The original purchase had enough extra material left over to be able to nearly completely build this, so we didn’t have to deal with the astoundingly high prices of material right now.

To God be the glory! We received donations and other unexpected assistance in 2019/2020 that allowed us to complete all of this without borrowing any money. Over $8700! The Church continues to be debt-free! Praise the Lord!
